Shingle Roofing
Durable shingle systems with balanced cost, style, and protection. We guide you through options, colors, and warranty coverage and connect you with licensed installers.
Why shingles
A classic, versatile choice with excellent performance in all climates and a wide range of styles and colors.
What to expect
Asphalt shingle roofing remains one of the most popular choices for residential roofs. Our contractors offer architectural (dimensional) and 3-tab shingles in many colors and brands. We handle tear-off of old roofing, deck inspection and repair, underlayment, and full installation with proper ventilation and flashing. Every installer we work with uses ice-and-water barrier where required and follows best practices for nail placement and exposure so your warranty stays valid.
Benefits
- Proven performance and manufacturer warranties (often 25–30 years) when installed per spec; we only refer contractors who follow manufacturer guidelines.
- Wide color and style options to match your home—from traditional grays and browns to modern blacks and mixed tones.
- Cost-effective compared to many other systems while still delivering strong wind and impact resistance with architectural shingles.
- Familiar to most contractors for straightforward repairs later; finding someone to fix or replace a section is easy.
How we work with you
Inspection & recommendation
A contractor from our network inspects your roof, checks the deck and ventilation, and recommends shingle type (architectural or 3-tab), color, and underlayment. You get a written estimate with material and labor broken out.
Material selection & scheduling
You choose the shingle line and color. We coordinate tear-off (if needed), disposal, and delivery. Start and completion dates are confirmed in advance so you can plan around the work.
Installation & warranty paperwork
Crews install underlayment, flashings, and shingles to manufacturer specs. You receive warranty registration info and a walkthrough of what’s covered so you’re set for the long term.
When shingle roofing is the right fit
Shingles are ideal for most residential pitched roofs: they’re affordable, widely available, and look great on traditional and contemporary homes. If your priority is balancing cost, appearance, and warranty without the higher upfront cost of metal or slate, asphalt shingles are a solid choice. Our contractors also specialize in high-wind and impact-resistant options if your area has strict requirements.
